Tab Trade — The Short Version
TabTrade.com launched in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background matters. It suggests the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.
Market coverage: forex, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that launched in March 2026, the breadth is not narrow.
What You Trade On
They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the alternative. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Many people find it more natural once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is reportedly in the works. That would make the platform set when it lands.
What You Pay
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Works for beginners.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. This broker does not.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not for the average person. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is the thing this broker actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers quote a much wider range.
Does it matter? If you scalp, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get makes sense. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.
The FSRA Question
Here is the part that matters. Tab Trade is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
But. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Dodgy operations do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this make it safe. It should be part of your decision.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that makes sense comes down to your priorities.
